We are very aware of the world around us. And we know that one of the most important challenges for companies in the 21st century is to combine economic development with sustainability that does not put the planet at risk for future generations, which is why at Frumecar we have divided our efforts into three fronts to ensure that our products and services have less and less impact on the carbon footprint of the planet.

Energy efficiency

A fundamental strategy to combat the climate footprint is to optimize, from an energy consumption point of view, all the industrial processes involved.

1. ECO mode

Inclusion of an ECO mode in the plant operating model to reduce energy consumption as much as possible. Including progressive starters to achieve a low-consumption mode in concrete mixers, tape starters and, above all, allowing a more exact control of errors in the dosing of materials, managing to save up to 10 kilos of cement per loading cycle and adjusting waste of other raw materials to a minimum.

2. High performance motors

Change of traditional engines for new models of maximum performance.

3. Pressure check

Using an advanced pressure control system in the water pumps that allows optimization of the operating time, reducing the start and stop cycles and achieving energy savings of up to 15% in the daily operation of this system.

Recycling

In the circular economy, recycling is essential to reduce the environmental footprint, Frumecar designs products that increase the useful use of concrete.

Frumecar recyclers contribute to reducing the impact that concrete operations may cause, always in accordance with the needs of our customers and protecting the environment where they carry out their activity.

The latest technological advances applied to concrete plants allow resources to be optimized while being much kinder to the environmental impact.

The intelligent control system of Frumecar K2 is capable of managing the dosages of all raw materials with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, managing to reduce dosage errors to less than 1%, avoiding the waste of resources that are so valuable for our environment.

Our plants have an advanced design that allows us to optimize transport and drastically reduce the carbon footprint of delivery.

4. Frumecar Cloud

The Frumecar Cloud system allows, through our Frumecar Care, maintenance application, to extend the life cycle of our products by up to 20%, achieving an increase in the useful life of existing and newly created machinery.

One of the latest advances developed is the improvement of our facilities, contributing to energy savings and taking advantage of natural resources, such as sunlight, both in direct use for lighting, and in the transformation into photovoltaic panels.

Carbon footprint studies.

We carry out studies of the carbon footprint of our plants, which provide information on the estimated greenhouse gas emissions of all the materials manufactured, transported and assembled in a project, optimizing the maintenance and end-of-life costs of the materials.
